Originally a Granary in the early 1800‘s (before the days of the Herring Yards) they have been lived in continually from the 1850’s by our family. Accessed via our entrance courtyard both cottages retain many of their historic features.
The Gateway to the Farne Islands – Our Cottages in Seahouses
Seahouses lies on the Northumberland coast about 15 miles North-East of Alnwick. Seahouses is known as ‘The Gateway to the Farne Islands’ and as it is the largest of the local village resorts it is very popular with both locals and visitors for its shopping and entertainment amenities. The Village is centred around its harbour, where you will find fishing boats mixed with pleasure boats taking visitors over to the Farne Islands.
