Bus

Seahouses is a bus-stop on the Arriva “Newcastle – Morpeth – Amble – Alnwick – The Coast – Berwick” X18 route which is their service between Newcastle and Berwick .

Rail

A small commuter train runs a limited daily (morning & evening) service between Newcastle and Chathill, 10 mins car / taxi journey from Seahouses (popular with #cyclists & #walkers).

For our Cottage guests who are walkers – should taxi’s be unavailable we can provide a transport link to & from Chathill

Car Hire

Is available for guests, who may prefer rail travel to Northumberland and then wish to hire a car for exploring our spectacular Northumbrian Coast & Countryside.

With this in mind, we have sourced a local Car Hire Company who will arrange a courtesy pick up at the Main Line stop at Alnmouth prior to taking you to collect the car you have ordered and to complete relevant paperwork – (Information sent on request)
